Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sub tries for a takedown but Gutierrez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sub shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gutierrez but Gutierrez pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gutierrez keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gutierrez shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sub eats them both and turns towards Gutierrez to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Gutierrez scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Will Sub has been cut.
Gutierrez throws a right hand that Sub ducks under and follows up with a left that Sub also avoids with ease.
Gutierrez displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Gutierrez gets caught flat footed, as Sub shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sub wants to control from the top but Gutierrez keeps moving.

Sub thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sub wants to pass the guard but Gutierrez is keeping the position.
Sub won't allow Gutierrez to get back to his feet.

Sub drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sub jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gutierrez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sub. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
