The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sims with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mousasi to score with a decent uppercut.
Sims dodges the punch combination from Mousasi.
Fedor Mousasi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mousasi moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Sims changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mousasi tries to avoid it but Sims manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mousasi to the ground. Mousasi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sims drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mousasi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sims has Mousasi in his guard.

Sims shoots in looking for a takedown. Mousasi tries to sprawl out of it but Sims keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mousasi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
