Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ilja Vasuta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanislav Valentinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vasuta might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to E.S. Posthumus Unstoppable . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentinov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vasuta walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Valentinov checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Vasuta changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Valentinov tries to avoid it but Vasuta manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Valentinov to the ground. Valentinov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Valentinov is trying to escape the mount but Vasuta keeps good control and instead manages to take Valentinov's back.

Vasuta is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Valentinov knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Valentinov for a finish.

Vasuta shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Valentinov sprawls well. Valentinov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vasuta gets slowly back to his feet.

Valentinov wants to stand and escape but instead Vasuta has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vasuta postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
