The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawk just misses with a punch to the body.
Hawk looks to land a combination. Peikko sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Veli Peikko has been cut.
Mike Hawk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peikko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hawk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Peikko.
Peikko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hawk swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Peikko takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Hawk jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
