The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin misses with a two punch combination.
Swanson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Martin.
Martin leaves Swanson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Swanson looks to land a left hand but Martin moved out of range nicely.
The fighters circling - Swanson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Swanson scores with the left hand. Martin knows he should have avoided that one.
Martin misses with a few strikes there.

Swanson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Swanson is working for a submission of some sort.
Martin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Swanson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Martin tries to roll over but Swanson keeps him under control.

Swanson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Martin defend it? Swanson steps over the head and cranks it - Martin is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Swanson!
