Fairbain comes to the cage accompanied by Remember my name. Phife has chosen Fernandinho - Mais Alto as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Fairbain tenderised Phife's leg. Phife is trying to keep his angry face on.
Phife gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Fairbain ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fairbain connects with a leg kick. Phife looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Phife fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Fairbain checks it well.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Phife lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Fairbain has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Fairbain and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Fairbain throws a shot from downtown. Phife moves away and avoids it.
Fairbain scores with a nice head shot.
Phife takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fairbain misses with an attempted mid kick.
Phife throws a hook to the side of Fairbain's head but Fairbain sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Fairbain needs to keep his hands up - Phife had a free shot at his head there.
Phife drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Phife throws out a loose jab but Fairbain uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Phife throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Phife motions for Fairbain to come forward. Phife throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Phife tries to bum rush Fairbain with a series of wild strikes but Fairbain uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Fairbain counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Phife is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Fairbain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fairbain throws a head kick that Phife semi-blocks.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fairbain throws a front kick that sends Phife stumbling back into the cage.

Phife moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Phife is rocked!
Fairbain explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Fairbain connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Phife looks gassed!
Fairbain lands with an overhand left.
Phife is still on wobbly legs! Can Fairbain finish him?
Phife switches off momentarily and Fairbain cracks him with a monster right hand! Phife topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Fairbain dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Fairbain!
