The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
toole looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vipunen is fending him off so far but toole persists. Nope, Vipunen circles away and we're back to standing.
toole looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Vipunen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Vipunen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

toole takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Vipunen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

toole tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Vipunen presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Vipunen is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. toole is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. toole flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Vipunen anticipates the leg and manages to get behind toole and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Vipunen slips an arm under toole chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Vipunen has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Vipunen is squeezing on toole like an anaconda would it's prey. toole fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
