Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martyn Musgrave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Riverboat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musgrave throws a nice outside leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Musgrave. That's going to slow Riverboat down.
Riverboat throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Musgrave sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Musgrave blocks a head kick by Riverboat.
Musgrave throws a nice inside leg kick.
Riverboat lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Riverboat scores with a jab. Musgrave acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Musgrave lands a leg kick that knocks Riverboat off balance momentarily.

Musgrave feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Musgrave drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Riverboat manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Musgrave has Riverboat in his guard.

Riverboat got a little sloppy there for a moment and Musgrave has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Riverboat has managed to get both his arms back between Musgrave's legs - danger averted.

Musgrave looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Riverboat has picked Musgrave up and slammed him! Musgrave can't keep hold of the triangle and Riverboat manages to pass to side control!
Musgrave can't do much from the bottom here.

Musgrave on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Musgrave tries to get out of the position.

Riverboat works to advance to full mount. Musgrave defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Riverboat takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Musgrave tries to lock up and control but Riverboat gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Riverboat wants to control the pace but Musgrave is squirming around nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Musgrave tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Riverboat lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Musgrave has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Musgrave and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Riverboat misses the jab.
Riverboat throws a series of punches but Musgrave avoids them all with ease.
Riverboat throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Musgrave dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Riverboat. That did some damage!
Martyn Musgrave seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That kick from Musgrave tenderised Riverboat's leg. Riverboat is trying to keep his angry face on.
Musgrave changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Riverboat tries to avoid it but Musgrave manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Riverboat to the ground. Riverboat escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Riverboat throws out a loose jab but Musgrave uses good head movement to avoid it.

Riverboat stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Musgrave.

Riverboat misses the shot to the body.
Musgrave scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Musgrave uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Riverboat.
Riverboat misses with the combination.
Riverboat's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Musgrave throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Riverboat was covering up waiting for the punch and Musgrave finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Musgrave looking to sit in guard and control but Riverboat gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Musgrave has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Riverboat should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Musgrave has tightened it up now! Riverboat should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Martyn Musgrave spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
