The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cain drops Dias Teixeira with a left and a right! Oh, Dias Teixeira is hurt - Cain dives into side control looking to finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The strikes coming from Cain are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Cain decides to stand back up. Cain steps back and let's Dias Teixeira get back to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Cain as Dias Teixeira shoots in.
Cain misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Horrible takedown by Dias Teixeira or perhaps it was just good defense by Cain which made him look bad.

Cain closes the distance and clinches.

Cain closes the distance but Dias Teixeira moves to the side

and Dias Teixeira counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Cain pushes Dias Teixeira off looking to stand but Dias Teixeira dives back in and keeps control.
Cain wants to control but Dias Teixeira is keeping busy and won't allow it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dias Teixeira is trying to control the action in half guard but Cain is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dias Teixeira frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Cain tries to lock up and control but Dias Teixeira gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cain swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Cain is wriggling around trying to escape.
Cain wants to hold on but Dias Teixeira pushes him away.
Dias Teixeira throwing strikes here but Cain is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Cain tries to improve his position but instead Dias Teixeira has taken his back!

Dias Teixeira is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Cain is tapping out! This one is all over!
