Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Basit Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Kolov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kolov has chosen Limp Bizkit-Rollin as his entrance music. Dan Kolov struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dan Kolov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolov wants to clinch up but Ali keeps it at a distance.
Ali pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ali closes the distance but Kolov moves to the side
and Kolov counters with a big head kick but Ali shrugs it off.
Ali circles away from the clinch attempt.
Some wild striking there from Ali.
Ali misses with a series of wild punches.
Kolov tries to bum rush Ali with a series of wild strikes but Ali uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ali has closed the distance and engaged Kolov in a clinch.
Ali escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ali is looking to clinch but Kolov is avoiding it.
Ali misses with a body kick.
Kolov gets a clinch.
Ali pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Ali lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Dan Kolov has been cut.
Ali throws a push kick but Kolov slaps the foot to one side.

and Ali counters with a good low kick that Kolov was not able to check.
Ali tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ali lands a really nice looking cross but Kolov seems unphased.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kolov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ali closes the distance and clinches.
Ali gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kolov.
Ali manages to break the clinch.

Ali gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ali has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Basit Ali has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Kolov.
Kolov is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Ali tries to circle away but Kolov has him pinned against the cage.
Kolov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kolov moves into the clinch.
Ali can't break the clinch.
Ali gets underhooks to prevent Kolov's takedown attempt.
Ali turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ali advances to mount.
Kolov keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ali lands a nice shot to the head.

Kolov is bucking up trying to escape but Ali cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
