Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Dejesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ras Putten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Putten is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Aish Tamid by Matisyahu. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dejesus is trying hard to land a takedown here. Putten sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Putten lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Douglas Dejesus has been cut.

Putten gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Putten lands a damaging elbow.
Putten lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dejesus or not.
Putten landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Putten takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Putten closes the distance and pushes Dejesus back into the cage.

Dejesus tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Putten lands a good knee to the midsection. Dejesus won't want to take too many of those.

Dejesus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Putten swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Putten counters with a head kick that drops Dejesus to the mat! Dejesus scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Dejesus gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Putten gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
