Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Doestevsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Hearns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doestevsky's entrance music is New Divide. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tommy Hearns!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doestevsky closes the distance and clinches up with Hearns, looking for a takedown. Doestevsky pushes Hearns against the cage but Hearns circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Doestevsky misses with a two punch combination.
Doestevsky shoots for a double leg takedown but Hearns sprawls well. He's pushed Doestevsky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
No luck for Doestevsky with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samuel Doestevsky. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Doestevsky shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hearns as he jumps to the side.

and Hearns counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Hearns's corner calls for a 1-2. Hearns obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hearns cracks Doestevsky with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

and Hearns counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hearns throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Doestevsky tries a head kick but it misses.
Doestevsky shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Doestevsky shoots in looking for a takedown. Hearns tries to sprawl out of it but Doestevsky keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hearns manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hearns scores with a punch to the head.
Hearns loads up on a big right hand but Doestevsky slips the punch.
Hearns displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Doestevsky.
