The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McStar moves away from the strike by Kirby.
McStar misses with a takedown attempt
and Kirby counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McStar throws a jab but it's blocked by Kirby.
McStar tries for a takedown but Kirby sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kirby scores with a punch to the head.
Robbie McStar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McStar takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kirby scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The fight stays on the outside here - McStar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kirby connects with a right hand. McStar shakes it off.
McStar slips under a jab.
Kirby misses with a looping left.
McStar lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kirby at a distance.
McStar takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McStar takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kirby lands with an overhand left.

McStar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
McStar in side control, throwing shots but Kirby defends.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kirby defending against the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McStar in side control lands a decent elbow.
McStar misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
McStar creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
McStar is looking to take a break and control but Kirby is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kirby tries to improve position but can't.
McStar works to advance to full mount. Kirby defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
McStar looking to finish Kirby with some ground and pound. This is bad for Kirby!

McStar avoids the attempt from Kirby to control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
BOOM! McStar connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Kirby takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
