Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ben Gorden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bring Da Ruckus. Renato Gracie has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ben Gorden's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorden lands with a nice combination. Gracie backs away looking to recover.
Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gorden is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Gorden circles away and we're back to standing.

Gracie isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gorden stacks Gracie on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Gorden!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gorden is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gracie Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gorden's back instead.
