Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kerry Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Von Prawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgee comes to the cage accompanied by Superman's Worst Nightmare. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Prawn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcgee tries to avoid it but Von Prawn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcgee to the ground. Mcgee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Von Prawn shoots for a takedown but Mcgee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Von Prawn tries to clinch up
so Mcgee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Mcgee tries to free his leg and advance position but Von Prawn is retaining full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mcgee's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Mcgee won't allow Von Prawn to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mcgee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Von Prawn can do anything to dispel that myth.
Von Prawn has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Mcgee has passed into side control.

Mcgee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Mcgee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Von Prawn keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcgee is working to tighten is grip on Von Prawn's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Von Prawn has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mcgee is really squeezing tight and eventually Von Prawn passes out! Mcgee breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Kerry Mcgee decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
