Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Hosmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marg Winter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Travis Hosmer has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Travis Hosmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marg Winter!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winter fails to land the takedown.
Winter moves out of range of the body kick from Hosmer.
Hosmer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Winter has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Winter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hosmer throws a leg kick but Winter moved away.

Winter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Winter lands in his opponent's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Winter tries to free his leg and advance position but Hosmer is retaining full guard.
Winter stops Hosmer from standing up.
Winter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Winter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Winter passes into half guard.

Winter seems to be working for a kimura but Hosmer defends the submission attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hosmer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Winter on the ground.

Winter is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hosmer sees it coming and defends easily.
Hosmer wants to get back to his feet.
Winter slows the pace down in half guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Marg Winter wasn't active enough on the ground.
Hosmer misses with a low kick.

Winter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Winter stops Hosmer from standing up.

Winter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Hosmer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Winter drops back looking for a leg! Hosmer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hosmer manages to kick Winter off! Winter jumps back into Hosmer's guard.
Winter postures up in Hosmer's guard and throws a big left but Hosmer blocks it.

Winter has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hosmer is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Winter yanks on the arm and Hosmer is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Winter.
