Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klein East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm Lancaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). East comes to the cage accompanied by Cold as Ice- M.O.P.. Lancaster has chosen Bed Intruder as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Klein East!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Malcolm Lancaster!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster tries to clinch but East moves away

and East counters with a single leg into guard. Lancaster didn't expect that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
East controls from within his opponent's guard.

Lancaster looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! East has picked Lancaster up and slammed him! Lancaster can't keep hold of the triangle and East manages to pass to side control!

East is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lancaster has escaped the position, nice work there.
East cracks Lancaster with a big elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
East slows the pace down.
East is working Lancaster over with some ground and pound from side control.
East scoring with punches and elbows.
Lancaster tries to bench press East off him but East keeps the position.

Lancaster wants to control but East postures up.
Lancaster seems a little lost for a moment, as East dominates the positioning.
East lands a nice forearm strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lancaster is not content to let East control the position.
Lancaster is looking to regain half guard here but East keeps moving and retains side control.
East remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
East misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Lancaster can't do much from the bottom here.
East is looking to take a break and control but Lancaster is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

East has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
East wants to control but Lancaster is keeping him busy.
Lancaster trying to control but East flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Lancaster is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Lancaster looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
East doesn't have the hooks in and Lancaster manages to turn into his guard.
East manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lancaster manages to get himself to full guard.
East lands a couple of elbows.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

East avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Klein East dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


East lands with a hook. Lancaster tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lancaster shoots for a takedown but East saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A nice inside leg kick there by East. That's going to slow Lancaster down.
Lancaster fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. East looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A thudding body kick lands there by East!
East lands a head kick. Lancaster smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
East circles away from the clinch attempt.
East dodges the punch combination from Lancaster.
Malcolm Lancaster is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lancaster tries to clinch but East moves away
and East counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice takedown defense from East. No joy for Lancaster on that attempt.
Lancaster is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lancaster defends well against a solid takedown attempt from East.
East ducks under a wild hook from Lancaster.
Lancaster wants to clinch but East slips to the side
and East counters with a good low kick that Lancaster was not able to check.
East buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
East scores with a shot to the body.

Lancaster tries to close the distance and clinch up but East swats him away and circles back towards the center.
East lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Malcolm Lancaster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lancaster jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A slapping leg kick lands for East.
Lancaster rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but East moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lancaster is breathing heavily.
East connects with a looping right hand.
Lancaster takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Lancaster throws a wild body kick that East sees coming a mile off.
Lancaster tries to clinch up
and East counters with a slapping leg kick.
Lancaster looks to score with a jab to the body but East is just out of range.
Lancaster chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before East can pounce on him.

and East counters with a slapping leg kick.
Lancaster shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as East sprawls well. East wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lancaster gets slowly back to his feet.
Klein East has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Malcolm Lancaster.
East ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
East lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
East lands a body shot.
East sizes up Lancaster with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
East lands with a hook. Lancaster tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
East throws a quick inside leg kick.

East darts in and clinches Lancaster up against the cage.
East is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lancaster can do to turn this around?
Lancaster jumps guard but East stands there with Lancaster around his waist. Lancaster gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
East is pushing Lancaster up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

East breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lancaster misses with a takedown attempt - East sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lancaster swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and East counters with a thumping low kick.
Lancaster throws a combination that misses
and East counters with a low kick, right behind Lancaster 's knee.
Lancaster on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by East. East obviously looking to wear him down.
East scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lancaster doesn't seem bothered though.
East fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lancaster.
East goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
East lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
East chopping away at his opponent's legs.
East lands a lovely overhand right.
East lands a leg kick that knocks Lancaster off balance momentarily.
Lancaster takes a shot right to the bread basket.
East is looking to slow Lancaster down with leg kicks.

East scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
East is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

East has an Americana. Lancaster didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! East is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if East hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
