The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Woods ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Woods lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Zedong throws a front kick aimed at Woods's knee but Woods avoids it well.
Woods fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Zedong has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Zedong lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like James Woods has been cut.

Woods connects with a body shot that sends Zedong's belly button to the back.
Woods looks to land a left hand but Zedong moved out of range nicely.

Zedong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Woods.
Some bone on bone action there as Zedong checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Woods dives in and grabs Zedong's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zedong pushes down on Woods's head and hops out.
Woods throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Woods's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zedong under the eye.
Zedong needs to keep his hands up - Woods had a free shot at his head there.
Woods tries to bum rush Zedong with a series of wild strikes but Zedong uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Zedong misses with a series of wild punches.
Zedong throws a right hand that Woods ducks under and follows up with a left that Woods also avoids with ease.
Woods throws a hook to the side of Zedong's head but Zedong sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The fighters circling - Zedong throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Zedong misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Woods tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zedong was well out of range. Poor timing from Woods.

Zedong is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Zedong wants to control but Woods is having none of it.

Zedong takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Woods's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
