The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Bauer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bauer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Easton Bauer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Easton Bauer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bauer wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bauer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Easton Bauer.
Well Bauer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
