Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Art Vandelay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Alb!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alb tries a head kick but it misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Vandelay.
Vandelay throws the kick towards the body but Alb avoids it.
Vandelay moves out of range as Alb strikes.
Alb throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Alb swings widly with a right hand
and Vandelay counters with a one-two to the body.

Vandelay moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Art Vandelay has been cut.
Alb blocks a low kick nicely.

Vandelay takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Alb changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vandelay tries to avoid it but Alb manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vandelay to the ground. Vandelay escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Alb crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vandelay - the referee stops the clock and Alb gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vandelay. Alb manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Vandelay bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Alb is looking to control Vandelay's arms but Vandelay gets an underhook and turns him. Now Alb has his back to the cage.
Vandelay unloads a knee to the mid-section.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Art Vandelay will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
