Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between No Chance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Blessed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blessed has chosen Alive - P.O.D as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Blessed misses the target.
Chance tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Blessed throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Chance counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Chance wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blessed keeps working.

Chance wants to work for an arm triangle but Blessed is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Chance is looking to take a break and control but Blessed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Chance is looking for a kimura here.
Chance wants to pass the guard but Blessed is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blessed looks like he's trying to stand up.
Blessed really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chance. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chance is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Blessed still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Blessed has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
