Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nil Sorsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ultra Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nil Sorsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ultra Steve!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve misses with a hook.
Steve swats away the attempt to clinch by Sorsky.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Sorsky has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Steve regains guard immediately.
Sorsky prevents Steve from getting back to his feet.

Sorsky sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Steve misses with a hook.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Steve throws a big shot that misses.
Steve misses with a straight right.
Sorsky fails in his attempt to clinch.
Steve missing with a left hand there. Sorsky was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Steve throws a right hand that misses

and Sorsky moves into the clinch.
Steve tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sorsky smiles and moves away.
Sorsky really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sorsky is looking to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Steve throws a hook to the side of Sorsky's head but Sorsky sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Steve throws a hook but Sorsky avoids it easily.

Sorsky moves into the clinch successfully.
Steve jumps guard but Sorsky stands there with Steve around his waist. Steve gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sorsky lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Steve pushes Sorsky off but Sorsky dives into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nil Sorsky dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Steve throws a hook to the side of Sorsky's head but Sorsky sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sorsky moves in looking to clinch but Steve pushes him off.
Sorsky ducks under a wild hook from Steve.
Steve swings widly with a right hand

and Sorsky moves into the clinch.
Steve is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sorsky gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Steve looking to stall.

Steve tries for a takedown but Sorsky manages to get underhooks.

Sorsky gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Steve is trying to escape back to his feet but Sorsky uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Steve wants to get back to his feet but Sorsky is dominant here and he's now got Steve's back!
Steve holding both Sorsky 's hands and preventing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Steve is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
What can Steve do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sorsky moves in looking to clinch but Steve pushes him off.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Sloppy strikes from Steve. Those never looked like landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nil Sorsky will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Steve throws a lazy right hand but Sorsky sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Sorsky takes the fight into the clinch.

Sorsky has Steve pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sorsky pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Steve tumbling to the mat - Sorsky dives into Steve's guard.
Steve is looking to stand back up but Sorsky counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Steve.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Steve is trying to escape back to his feet but Sorsky uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Nil Sorsky overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Steve tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Sorsky sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Steve trying desperately to get to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Steve is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sorsky tries to clinch but Steve is having none of it.
Steve misses with a hook

and Sorsky holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Sorsky blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Steve has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ultra Steve has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sorsky avoids a wild elbow strike from Steve.

And that's the end of the fight!
Nil Sorsky showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sorsky, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
