Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Penn Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, James Penn Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dean Smith!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Penn Jr.
Smith gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Penn Jr counters with a slapping leg kick.
Penn Jr thows a leg kick but Smith checks it
and Smith counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Smith stops Penn Jr from standing up.
Penn Jr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Penn Jr keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully.
Smith tries to free his leg and advance position but Penn Jr is retaining full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith drops back, looking for a kneebar! Penn Jr looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Penn Jr looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Penn Jr!
Penn Jr decides to stand back up. Penn Jr steps back and let's Smith get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn Jr lands a big head kick that sends Smith tumbling to the mat! Penn Jr takes a step backwards and waves Smith back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Dean Smith has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Penn Jr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Penn Jr throws a low kick but Smith moves out of range easily.
Penn Jr connects with a leg kick. Smith looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Penn Jr lands with a kick to the ribs.
Smith looks gassed!
Smith has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Penn Jr.
Penn Jr lands a big head kick that sends Smith tumbling to the mat! Penn Jr takes a step backwards and waves Smith back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Smith is rocked!
Smith on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Penn Jr. Penn Jr obviously looking to wear him down.
Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Penn Jr finish him?
Penn Jr lands with a thumping leg kick.
Penn Jr moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Penn Jr looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Penn Jr backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Smith's temple! It sends Smith violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Penn Jr celebrates and the doctors try to help Smith!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). James Penn Jr!
After the big win, James Penn Jr made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Steel Penn's Laundry 93% and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
