Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Milo Talon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Chainsaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Chainsaw will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chainsaw avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Talon closes the distance and clinches.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Chainsaw is looking to stand up but Talon won't let him.

Talon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Talon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Talon forces Chainsaw back against the cage and clinches.

Chainsaw has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Talon gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Jason Chainsaw has been cut.
Chainsaw takes an elbow to the temple.
Talon utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Chainsaw can't break the clinch.
Chainsaw is trying to break the clinch but Talon has him pressed against the cage.

Talon gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Chainsaw regains guard.
Talon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Chainsaw's head.
Chainsaw can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Talon controls the pace.

Chainsaw really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Talon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Talon stays in close to Chainsaw's body and controls the position.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Talon's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Talon with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Talon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Talon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Talon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Talon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Talon lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Talon wants to clinch up but Chainsaw keeps it at a distance.

Chainsaw can't break the clinch.

That has opened up Jason Chainsaw's cut even more.
Talon stalls.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Chainsaw is looking for a sweep. Talon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
