Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaac Cullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eric Turner is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isaac Cullen!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cullen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Turner as he jumps to the side.
Cullen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Turner.
Turner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cullen.
A lazy left from Turner finds it's target.

Turner moves into range and clinches up with Cullen.
Turner gets underhooks to prevent Cullen's takedown attempt.
Eric Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isaac Cullen.

Turner manages to break the clinch.

Turner feints and as Cullen raises his hands in defense, Turner changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Turner decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cullen, up you get!
Cullen throws a leg kick
and Turner counters with a head kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Come on Turner - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Turner has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cullen clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
I really don't envy Cullen right now.

Turner looking to break Cullen's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Cullen remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Turner will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Cullen breaks Turner's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Cullen trying to control but Turner is working from the bottom.
Cullen won't allow Turner to sweep him here.

Turner keeping full guard, as Cullen tries to pass.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cullen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cullen wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving.
Turner utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Turner wants to stand but Cullen is controlling the position.
Cullen trying to control the position from guard on top but Turner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Cullen looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cullen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Turner keeping moving, preventing Cullen from controlling successfully.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Isaac Cullen hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Nice takedown defense from Turner. No joy for Cullen on that attempt.

Turner looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cullen!
Cullen tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Cullen manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Turner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cullen on the ground.
Cullen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Cullen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Cullen is trying to control but can't.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Turner thows a huge punch but Cullen dodges it nicely.

Turner seems to be looking for submissions.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cullen is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eric Turner dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Turner stuffs the takedown attempt from Cullen. Cullen gets slowly back to his feet.

Turner shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cullen is trying to defend but Turner finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Cullen looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Cullen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Turner pulls his head out easily.
Turner is keen to just control but Cullen is a slippery customer.
Cullen tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Turner is trying to control. Cullen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Cullen kicks Turner off and gets back to his feet.

Turner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cullen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Turner has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Cullen is breathing heavily.

Cullen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Turner stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Cullen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Turner counters with a straight right hand.
Isaac Cullen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cullen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Turner is not content to let Cullen control the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Turner is trying to get back to half guard.

Cullen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Turner has escaped the position, nice work there.
Eric Turner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Cullen trying to control the position but Turner is working away.
The ground and pound from Cullen seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Turner sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Turner flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Turner is not content to let Cullen control the position.
Cullen is pressing down on Turner's thigh, looking to free his foot. Turner is holding on for now.
Cullen wants to control but Turner is keeping him busy.
Cullen is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Isaac Cullen hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Turner has closed the distance and engaged Cullen in a clinch.

Turner gets control of Cullen's arms and successfully pulls guard. Turner will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


No luck with that takedown attempt from Cullen.

Turner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Turner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Cullen is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Cullen wants to control but Turner is having none of it.

Turner looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Cullen is wriggling around trying to escape.
Turner tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Turner avoids the attempt from Cullen to control.

Cullen is looking to improve his position but Turner isn't that keen on the idea.
Cullen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Cullen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Cullen holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Turner tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Cullen wants to control but Turner is having none of it.
Turner lands a big elbow.
Turner throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cullen because Turner loaded up on that one.
Cullen is squirming around, avoiding Turner's attempts to control the action.
Cullen is looking to get to half guard.

Turner is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cullen has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Cullen is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Cullen tries to hold on but Turner pushes him away.
Cullen is looking to get to half guard.
Turner throws some wild stikes that Cullen manages to avoid easily.
Turner thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Isaac Cullen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Turner has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
