The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tobolowsky shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Penn as he avoids it easily.
Penn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tobolowsky was well out of range. Poor timing from Penn.
Penn misses with a left hand
and Tobolowsky counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Penn's guard now.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Tobolowsky stands up over Penn, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Tobolowsky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tobolowsky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
