The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer throws a leg kick that misses.
Hammer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Tapio's calf.
Hammer tries a head kick but it misses.
Tapio has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tapio there as he acknowledges the shot.
Hammer throws a body kick that misses.
Hammer connects with a leg kick. Tapio looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hammer throws a low kick but Tapio avoids it.
Hammer throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Tapio shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Tapio is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Tapio is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hammer defends it well.

Hammer explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Hammer lands a leg kick that knocks Tapio off balance momentarily.

Tapio uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hammer.
Hammer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tapio moves away.

Tapio fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hammer.

Hammer lands a big head kick that sends Tapio tumbling to the mat! Hammer takes a step backwards and waves Tapio back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Hammer lands an uppercut, right on the button! Tapio tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
