Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brantley Cermak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Connor!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Cermak looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Connor clobbers Cermak with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Cermak shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Connor counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cermak thinking.
Connor fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cermak wants to clinch up but Connor keeps it at a distance.
Connor throws a combination. Cermak tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Connor scores with a nice strike.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Connor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cermak has time to react.

Connor lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Connor cracks Cermak with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
