Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnny Turk told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turk takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Johnny Turk has been cut.
Jackson throws a poor cross that misses
and Turk makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jackson throws an off balance right hand
letting Turk counter with a right hand.
It looks like Quinton Jackson has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Turk moves out of range as Jackson strikes.
A punch combination from Turk misses.
Turk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Turk moves out of range easily.
Turk lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Turk blocks a head kick by Jackson.
Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Turk manages to avoid it.
Jackson scores with the left hand. Turk knows he should have avoided that one.
Jackson misses with a jab to the body
and Turk counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Jackson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Turk to score with a decent uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson loads up on a big right hand but Turk slips the punch.
Jackson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Turk throws out the jab.
Turk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jackson misses with a looping left.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Turk does a little dance to reset his feet.
Turk swings for the body but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson misses with an uppercut. Turk saw that one coming.
Turk throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Turk throws a series of punches but Jackson moves out of range.
Turk thows a body shot but no joy.
Nice sprawl there from Turk as Jackson shoots in.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Turk swivels and escapes.
A jab from Turk misses.
Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Turk was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson.
Turk will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nice straight punches there by Jackson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jackson.
Jackson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jackson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quinton Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jackson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jackson misses with a low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Turk squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Jackson is stalling here but it's allowed Turk to get half guard.
Jackson wants to free his trapped foot but Turk is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turk avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jackson.
Turk is trying to stand.
Turk manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turk but Turk pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Quinton Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A combination from Turk does no damage.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jackson, as that shot connected.
Jackson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Turk is trying to stand up here but Jackson is controlling him well.
Jackson trying to mount his opponent but Turk defends it.
Turk wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turk keeps working.
Jackson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Turk is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Johnny Turk will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jackson throws a big shot that misses.
Turk lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Jackson sprawling to the canvas. Turk follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Jackson hang on?
Jackson is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Turk lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Jackson! More strikes land and this one is all over! Turk jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Turk!
Johnny Turk is the new heavyweight champion!
