Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Noyuk Peacock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silver Salmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silver Salmon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noyuk Peacock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Silver Salmon!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peacock doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Peacock.
Peacock throws a leg kick but Salmon sees it coming and moves out of range.
Salmon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Salmon slaps away a takedown attempt from Peacock, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Salmon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Peacock leaves Salmon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Peacock shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Salmon is trying to defend but Peacock finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Peacock landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Peacock is looking to stall here but Salmon recovers full guard.

Peacock trying to control but Salmon is working from the bottom.
Peacock is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Salmon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Peacock's guard.

Peacock wants to get back to his feet but Salmon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Salmon wants to control from the top but Peacock keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Peacock fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Salmon scores with a nice strike.

Peacock misses with the combination.
Peacock tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Salmon swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noyuk Peacock. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Salmon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Peacock but Peacock pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Salmon works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Peacock really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Salmon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Peacock sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salmon somewhat.
Salmon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Peacock's waist but Peacock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salmon off to one side.
Peacock is looking to clinch.
Peacock fails to land the takedown.

Salmon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Salmon performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Peacock knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Salmon on the ground.
Salmon wants to take a breather but Peacock is having none of it.
Salmon is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Peacock is looking to control Salmon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Peacock avoid being mounted?
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Salmon prevents Peacock from improving his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Silver Salmon.
Both fighters circling a little - Salmon finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Silver Salmon will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Peacock tries to clinch but Salmon moves out of range.
Peacock throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Peacock shoots in looking for a takedown but Salmon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Peacock's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Peacock gets a double leg takedown into Salmon's guard.
Peacock looking to sit in guard and control but Salmon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Peacock has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Salmon is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Peacock.
