Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zander Givens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Zander Givens was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zander Givens !
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Black.
Givens looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
No luck for Black with that takedown attempt.
Black shoots in looking for a takedown. Givens tries to sprawl out of it but Black keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Givens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Black. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Black will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Black tries to close the distance and clinch up but Givens swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Black forces Givens back against the cage and clinches.

Black decides to pull guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Givens stops Black from standing up.

Givens drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Black dives on top into guard.

Givens looking for a guillotine here but Black defends easily.
Black is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Givens is looking to stand up but Black isn't so interested in that idea.

Black decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Black scores with a shot to the body.

Black closes the distance and clinches.

Black breaks from the clinch.
Black lands a glancing blow to the side of Givens 's head.

It looks like Zander Givens has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Black's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Black duly obliges.

Black throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Givens was covering up waiting for the punch and Black finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Givens is rocked!
Black knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Givens on the ground.
Black postures up in Givens 's guard and throws a big left but Givens blocks it.
Givens is still in real trouble! Can Black finish him?
Black trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Black advances position into side control!
Check out the look on Black's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Black in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Givens looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Black turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
