The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Tib misses with a looping left.

Pereira rushes Tib and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Tib is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Pereira is defending well for now.
Tib has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pereira after a bit of a struggle.
Pereira tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Pereira blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Pereira tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A nice left hand lands by Pereira.
Pereira dips a shoulder and cracks Tib with a mighty uppercut! Tib falls back against the cage and Pereira unloads with a barrage of strikes! Tib is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Pereira screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
