Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quintonn Jacksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Efrain Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacksson comes to the cage accompanied by Rampage entrance song. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a series of punches but Jacksson avoids them all with ease.

Jacksson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Jacksson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Jacksson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jacksson.
Jacksson prevents Silva from standing back up.
Jacksson tries to pass to full mount but Silva defends it.

Jacksson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Silva has managed to free his arm - good work.
Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jacksson is working away from the top position though.

Silva is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jacksson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jacksson's back!
Jacksson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Silva wants to take Jacksson's back here but Jacksson is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Jacksson is looking to improve his position but Silva isn't that keen on the idea.
Silva trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Jacksson is wriggling around trying to escape.

Silva goes for an armbar but Jacksson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Jacksson.

Jacksson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Silva's head.
Jacksson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Jacksson distracts Silva with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jacksson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jacksson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Jacksson chips away with some ground and pound.
Jacksson gets to his feet and stands over Silva, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Silva felt that one! Jacksson unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Silva from any more punishment!
