Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lapin Kulta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lapin Kulta has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kulta throws a head kick that misses.
Kulta misses with a double jab.
Kulta lands a nice hook to Ryan's body. Ryan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ryan ducks under a wild hook from Kulta.

Ryan forces Kulta back against the cage and clinches.
Ryan fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Ryan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kulta is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kulta is trying to break free.

Ryan breaks the clinch.
Kulta throws a head kick that misses.

Ryan rushes Kulta and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kulta is trying to break the clinch but Ryan has him pressed against the cage.

Kulta breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ryan closes the distance and clinches.
Kulta has had enough of the clinch but Ryan keeps him there for the moment.
Kulta prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lapin Kulta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Ryan.
Kulta is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Ryan wants to stall.
Kulta is trying to break the clinch but Ryan has him pressed against the cage.
Ryan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ryan is looking to control Kulta's arms but Kulta gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ryan has his back to the cage.
Ryan misses with an elbow strike.

Ryan has Kulta pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ryan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kulta tumbling to the mat - Ryan dives into Kulta's guard.
Ryan wants to control from the top but Kulta keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kulta looking for a guillotine here but Ryan defends easily.
Kulta looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ryan is stalling in the full guard.

Ryan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kulta working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ryan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ryan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ryan passes Kulta's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kulta is looking for a sweep. Ryan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ryan trying to control the action but Kulta is working from the bottom.
Ryan looks gassed!

Ryan escapes and gets back to his feet.
Kulta displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Ryan is rocked!
Kulta throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kulta throws a hook to the side of Ryan's head but Ryan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ryan just misses with a punch to the body.
Lapin Kulta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kulta misses with a series of wild punches.
Kulta uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ryan has time to react.
Ryan is still on wobbly legs! Can Kulta finish him?
Ryan slips a jab and a cross from Kulta.
Ryan seems to have recovered his senses.
Ryan shoots in and drives through. Kulta sprawls well.
Kulta throws a sloppy head kick and Ryan moves out of range easily.
Kulta throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kulta showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ryan.
Kulta throws a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ryan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kulta as he avoids it easily.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ryan checks a leg kick.
Kulta drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Ryan's head, knocking him out cold! Kulta is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
