Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie The Rocket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veldrane Sengir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Robbie The Rocket has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sengir tries to close the distance and clinch but The Rocket swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The Rocket throws a leg kick but Sengir sees it coming and moves out of range.
Sengir shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has The Rocket pinned against the cage. The Rocket gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sengir takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Sengir is going oldschool here, as he tries to force The Rocket to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so The Rocket shrugs it off.

Sengir has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of The Rocket's face.

Sengir changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. The Rocket tries to avoid it but Sengir manages to keep hold of a leg and drag The Rocket to the ground. The Rocket escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from The Rocket lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sengir has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sengir and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Sengir has hold of The Rocket's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and The Rocket manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sengir jumps guard and drags The Rocket to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Sengir is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, The Rocket has escaped the position, nice work there.
Sengir is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down The Rocket's shoulder. That is not cool.
Veldrane Sengir is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Sengir's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sengir takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Sengir changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Rocket looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The Rocket seems a little lost for a moment, as Sengir dominates the positioning.

Well Sengir has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
