Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on Fillipovitch's shoulder, as Fillipovitch tries to avoid the shot.
Johnson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fillipovitch displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Johnson throws out the jab.
Fillipovitch misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Fillipovitch drops his hands momentarily and Johnson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Fillipovitch tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance.
Mirko Fillipovitch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Johnson misses with a low kick as Fillipovitch jumps back.

Fillipovitch takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Johnson wants to get back to striking at distance but Fillipovitch won't allow it.
Fillipovitch lands a left hand.

Fillipovitch tries to work over Johnson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Fillipovitch's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Fillipovitch.
Johnson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Fillipovitchs head.
Johnson prevents a body shot from Fillipovitch.
Johnson lands with a right to the head.
Johnson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fillipovitch pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Johnson lands a left and a right that send Fillipovitch crashing to the mat, dazed. Johnson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fillipovitch is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?

It looks like Mirko Fillipovitch has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fillipovitch walks straight into a right hand from Johnson - that's dropped him! Johnson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Fillipovitch from any more punishment! Fillipovitch complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
