Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Goa Goa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takanori Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goa closes the distance and clinches up with Gomi, looking for a takedown. Goa pushes Gomi against the cage but Gomi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gomi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Goa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gomi connects with a body shot.
Gomi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gomi thows a body shot but no joy.
A head kick misses from Gomi.
Gomi jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Goa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gomi sprawls well. Gomi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Goa gets slowly back to his feet.

and Gomi counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Goa down! Gomi is looking to finish but Goa is intelligently defending himself.

Goa is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Goa Goa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gomi has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Goa is proving hard to escape from.
Oh Goa is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Goa is working an open guard so Gomi takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Gomi grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Goa takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Gomi cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
