The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Smith counters with a straight right hand.
Kronic throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Kronic displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Smith throws out the jab.
Kronic motions for Smith to come forward. Kronic throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kronic leaves Smith with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kronic looks to score with a jab to the body but Smith is just out of range.
Kronic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Kronic shows good takedown defense.

Smith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kronic is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Smith asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Smith lands a nice forearm strike.
Smith scores with punches from side control.

Kronic defending against the ground and pound.
A big shot lands for Smith! That's hurt Kronic! Will he recover? Smith fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
