Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Punani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Rummer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Rummer is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Punani can't fight it off and eventually Rummer manages to take the fight to the floor. Punani looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rummer looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Punani with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Punani here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
