PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beau Brady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Lose Yourself. Brady has chosen Johnny I Hardly Knew Ya as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brady shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Brady's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Silva moves into range and clinches up with Brady.
Brady is working for takedown but Silva is calmly controlling the position for now.
Silva comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Beau Brady has been cut.

Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brady's waist but Brady gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

Brady shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Brady keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Brady leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
BOOM! Silva connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Brady takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
