The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arruda fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Grassroot tries to close the distance and clinch up but Arruda swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Grassroot is looking to clinch but Arruda is avoiding it.
Grassroot throws a right and a left that both miss.
Grassroot misses with a body kick.
Grassroot fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A chopping leg kick lands by Grassroot.
Arruda pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Grassroot misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Arruda.
Grassroot tries for a takedown but Arruda sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Arruda drops Grassroot with a beautiful combination! Grassroot stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Arruda is looking for the KO!

It looks like Common Grassroot has been cut.
Arruda dances in with a quick combination. Grassroot is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Arruda snaps Grassroot's head back. Grassroot stumbles backwards against the cage. Arruda steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Grassroot's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Grassroot just didn't come prepared.
