The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hacking misses with a looping left.
O Connor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hacking's waist but Hacking gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing O Connor off to one side.

O Connor shoots in and bounces Hacking off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Pat O Connor has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Hacking takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hacking takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

O Connor shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

O Connor is keen to just control but Hacking is a slippery customer.
Hacking gets back to full guard.
O Connor controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Hacking controls O Connor momentarily but O Connor frees himself.
Hacking is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hacking wants to take a breather but O Connor is having none of it.

Hacking tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Hacking can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as O Connor is looking to escape.
