Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Franz Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Franz Berg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Ricardo!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab-cross combination lands for Berg and sends Ricardo crashing to the mat! Berg follows him down to the mat - Ricardo regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like John Ricardo has been cut.
Ricardo wants to improve his position but Berg is controlling well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ricardo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Berg is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ricardo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
