Raine's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, House Mafia - Greyhound . Aldo Raine has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Man wants it to stay on the feet.
Raine swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Good leg kick by Man there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Man bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Raine's head backwards.

Raine tries to clinch up
and Man counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Man throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Raine tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Man paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Raine misses with a takedown attempt - Man sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Raine fails with an attempt to clinch.
Man misses with a looping left.

Raine throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Man's waist but Man gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Raine off to one side.

Raine has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Man clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Man is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Raine gets his way!
Raine will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Raine is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Man is defending well though. Raine let's go of the attempt for now.

That was a close round but I would say that Aldo Raine will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Man on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Man is pressed up against the cage. Raine has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Man down to the mat. Man avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Sparka Man showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Aldo Raine's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

and Raine counters with a nice double leg into side control. Man won't be happy with that.

Raine is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Man is just riding it out for now. Raine eventually gives up the hold.

Raine is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Man doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Raine.
