Jones pushes off an throws an elbow but Meridius leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Meridius sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jones's guard.

Meridius is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Maximus Meridius hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Jones has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Meridius.

Good leg kick by Meridius there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jones walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Jones sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Meridius connects with a leg kick. Jones looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Meridius cracks Jones with a hook to the temple - Jones is on wobbly legs here! Meridius swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Jones falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Meridius wins by TKO!
