Richard comes to the cage accompanied by killing in the name of. Donkey Richard is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barbosa gets the takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Richard is looking for a sweep.
Richard is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barbosa not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Barbosa tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Richard.
Richard wants to get back to full guard.
Barbosa seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Barbosa is thwarting Richard's attempts to control the position.

Barbosa has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Richard off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Barbosa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Richard circles away quickly and effectively.

and Barbosa counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Richard is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Barbosa throws a low kick but Richard avoids it.
Richard looks to score with a jab to the body but Barbosa is just out of range.

Barbosa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Richard sprawls well initially but Barbosa persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Barbosa cracks Richard with a big right hand but Richard just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Barbosa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Barbosa bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Hector Barbosa seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Richard is looking to wear down Barbosa with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

You get the feeling that Barbosa really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Richard throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Barbosa is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Richard trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Poor strikes thrown by Richard there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Richard swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Barbosa is now in Richard's guard. A big mistake from Richard there, giving up the dominant position!
Barbosa won't allow Richard to sweep him here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Barbosa keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Richard's head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Donkey Richard will probably get the nod.

Richard shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barbosa pinned against the cage. Barbosa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hector Barbosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Richard throws a jab when Barbosa was well out of range.
Barbosa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Barbosa throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Barbosa shoots in and bounces Richard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Barbosa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Richard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barbosa has managed to get both his arms back between Richard's legs - danger averted.

Donkey Richard overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Richard has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Barbosa doesn't defend quickly enough and Richard has managed to lock this one up! Can Barbosa escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Richard on a fantastic submission victory.
