Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luke Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Keough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Couture had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. James Keough will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Keough's half guard.
Couture scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Keough is refusing to be controlled, as Couture sits in half guard.
Keough has hold of Couture's hands but Couture slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Keough blocking the ground and pound attempt from Couture.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
No joy there for Couture, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Couture drives through and clinches with Keough against the cage.
Couture is pressed up against the cage. Keough has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Couture down to the mat. Couture avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Keough tries to keep at a distance but Couture has taken the fight into the clinch.
Couture gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Couture stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Keough swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Couture looking to sit in guard and control but Keough gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Keough drops back, looking for a kneebar! Couture looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Couture looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Couture!

Keough is trying to buck Couture off.

Couture lands a nice forearm strike.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Keough takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Keough is rocked!
A big shot lands for Couture! That's hurt Keough! Will he recover? Couture fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
