The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strife avoids the body shot from Peterwhacker.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Strife on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Strife jumps into guard, dragging Peterwhacker to the mat.
Strife is controlling Peterwhacker's posture.

Peterwhacker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Strife is keeping the position for now.
Peterwhacker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Strife works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Strife is looking for a triangle but Peterwhacker pushes his legs off easily.

Strife tries to roll over but Peterwhacker keeps him under control.

Strife is bucking up trying to escape but Peterwhacker cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Peterwhacker is looking for a kimura here.

Strife is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Peterwhacker pulls his head out easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Peterwhacker uses his free foot to push down on Strife's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Strife.
Peterwhacker prevents Strife from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Strife takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Peterwhacker moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Strife avoids a punch combination nicely.

Peterwhacker moves into the clinch successfully.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Peterwhacker here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Peterwhacker creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Peterwhacker cracks Strife with a nice body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Peterwhacker manages to break the clinch.
Peterwhacker lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Strife backs up against the cage.
Strife fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Peterwhacker gets a takedown into half guard.

Peterwhacker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Peterwhacker wants to pass to mount but Strife is defending the position.

Strife actively working from the bottom here.
Strife is looking to improve his position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Peterwhacker connects with a nice short shot to Strife's temple.

Strife is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Peterwhacker passes the guard and advances to mount!
Strife sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Strife wants to improve his position but Peterwhacker is controlling well.

Peterwhacker seems to be working for a kimura but Strife defends the submission attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Peterwhacker is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Strife!

The referee warns Strife that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Strife tries to hold on but Peterwhacker pushes him away.

Strife is rocked!
Strife is looking to improve his position but Peterwhacker isn't that keen on the idea.

Strife seems to have recovered his senses.
Peterwhacker postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Strife badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Peterwhacker around the waist but Peterwhacker pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Peterwhacker is the winner by TKO! Peterwhacker jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
