Roussimoff comes to the cage accompanied by Headstrong - Trapt. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nicky Mcgarry!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgarry on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Roussimoff. Roussimoff obviously looking to wear him down.
Roussimoff getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Roussimoff lands a jab to Mcgarry's midsection.
Mcgarry connects with a crisp jab.
Roussimoff tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mcgarry swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Roussimoff misses with a straight left.
Mcgarry throws a jab when Roussimoff was well out of range.
Roussimoff throws a leg kick which misses Mcgarry's front leg but catches the back leg as Mcgarry tries to avoid it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Roussimoff shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mcgarry manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mcgarry wants to stand and escape but Roussimoff is having none of it.
Roussimoff wants to control from the top but Mcgarry keeps moving.
Mcgarry is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Roussimoff decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Roussimoff tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mcgarry sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Roussimoff somewhat.

Roussimoff lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


It looks like Nicky Mcgarry has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Roussimoff has Mcgarry up against the cage in a clinch.

Roussimoff has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Mcgarry is trying to keep an underhook but Roussimoff manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Mcgarry is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Roussimoff scores with a couple of nice shots.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roussimoff postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Mcgarry to stand up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Roussimoff stalls.
Mcgarry has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Roussimoff throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Mcgarry wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mcgarry is trying to break the clinch but Roussimoff has him pressed against the cage.
Roussimoff prevents Mcgarry from breaking the clinch.
Roussimoff working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Roussimoff tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Roussimoff has Mcgarry pressed against the cage, preventing Mcgarry from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Mcgarry avoids the elbow strike from Roussimoff, against the cage.
Mcgarry wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Roussimoff landing knees to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mcgarry's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Roussimoff turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Roussimoff cracks Mcgarry with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Mcgarry is rocked!
Mcgarry prevents Roussimoff from moving into mount.

Roussimoff is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mcgarry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcgarry is still in real trouble! Can Roussimoff finish him?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Roussimoff throws a strike aimed at the side of Mcgarry's head but Mcgarry avoids it well.
Mcgarry seems to have recovered his senses.
Roussimoff throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Roussimoff misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andre Roussimoff dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Nicky Mcgarry's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Roussimoff ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Roussimoff jabs Mcgarry to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Mcgarry leaves his chin hanging out and Roussimoff seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Mcgarry crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andre Roussimoff!
Andre Roussimoff made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I want to thank my sponsor and all the fans. And let everyone know that ANYONE that steps into my cage is in for a beating!'.
