Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rams Great (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Great jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lopez looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Great misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Good work by Lopez as he checks the leg kick.
Great throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A head kick misses from Great.
Great will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lopez lands a jab to the nose.

It looks like Rams Great has been cut.
No joy there for Great, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lopez scores with a three punch combo!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Great swinging wildly here.
Great throws a head kick but Lopez moves out of range.
Great throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lopez connects with a jab.

That has opened up Rams Great's cut even more.
Great throws a right hand that Lopez ducks under and follows up with a left that Lopez also avoids with ease.

Lopez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Great sprawling to the canvas! Great rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lopez finish him?!

Lopez sends Great crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lopez is motioning to the referee to let Great up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Great is rocked!
Great drops his hands momentarily. Lopez doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Great staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Great doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Victor Lopez!
After the fight, Victor Lopez was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
